It's very hard if not impossible to be very good and knowledgeable at multiple martial arts such as Shotokan Karate, Judo, Kendo and Aikido. Those who recently attended our 2016 Spring Camp "Gasshuku" with Shihan (Master) Yaguchi should now have an understanding of his knowledge and where you stand in relation to your karate endeavor. It is very apparent that we all have so much to learn in Shotokan Karate - not only the physical performance aspect, but also the intellectual aspect of this art. You should now possess a better understanding of the term "Shihan" after experiencing the teaching of Shihan Yaguchi. Shihan Yaguchi is now 83 years old and his physical demonstration of his Karate techniques were simply amazing.
To learn a martial art it's important to remain humble, respectful, let go of your ego while remaining confident, and have an open mind and a wiliness to learn. If you can do this - you might achieve success. "If You Chase Two Rabbits, Both Will Escape" - Ancient Proverb.
